We’re anticipating the biggest story of next week to happen tomorrow, as the Supreme Court prepares to hear oral arguments for both Little v. Hecox and West Virginia v. B. P. J. on the same day. Interested parties on this topic can read our Myth vs. Fact: Women’s Sports page to get caught up, or follow HeCheated.Org for in-depth reporting on men in women’s sports. Don’t miss this gloriously titled op-ed by Jennifer Sey, or Women’s Liberation Front’s live listening session of the oral arguments.
In crime news, a man who strangled his wife to death after she caught him wearing her clothing has been placed in a women’s prison. That same prison, MCI Framingham, has been described as “a haven for sexual predators who pretend to be transgender,” where a woman who reported that one of these men had raped her was placed in solitary confinement as a result. The ACLU simply will stop at nothing to let this keep happening. Also, the man who tried to break into JD Vance’s home goes by Julia.
In parental rights, a mother in California had her daughter removed by welfare services because she refused to “affirm” the girl’s “transgender” identity. After the push in California to prevent public schools from socially “transitioning” children in secret, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals halted the permanent injunction that would end the secrecy. The legal team on the side of objecting parents has since filed an emergency request with the U.S. Supreme Court, asking them to intervene.
The legislative battles continue. Today, New Jersey lawmakers were pressured to pass a law shielding patients and providers from liability around unproven “gender-affirming” treatments. In Washington, Democrats refused to hold hearings on initiatives for parental rights and girls’ sports, despite a grassroots effort that garnered over 400,000 signatures in support of each. Washington residents can expect to see them on this year’s ballot.
In the UK, the government is having an awful time trying to undermine last year’s Supreme Court ruling that for the purposes of the Equality Act, “woman” refers to adult female humans by sex rather than identity. (For reference, this is how men running for office in England talk to women’s rights advocates, and this is how men respond to being challenged and asked to leave a women’s restroom.) Meanwhile, a petition launched by James Esses asking for the government to halt the clinical trial of puberty blockers has been signed by over 120,000 UK residents, qualifying it to be considered for debate by Parliament.
In J.K. Rowling news, she has still not been arrested.
